1. Overview

TV Mode for Power BI is a Chrome browser extension that helps users display Power BI reports on TV screens with automatic rotation and fullscreen mode. This extension is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

This extension does not:

Collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers
Track browsing activity or history
Access the content of your Power BI reports
Share any data with third parties

3. Data Stored Locally

The extension stores the following data only on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:

Data	Purpose
Power BI page URLs you add	To remember your slideshow pages between sessions
Rotation interval (seconds)	To save your preferred timing setting
Data refresh interval (minutes)	To save your preferred refresh setting

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing Chrome's extension storage.

4. Permissions Explained

Permission	Why it is needed
`tabs`	To read the URL and title of the active Power BI tab when you click "Add current tab"
`windows`	To open and manage the fullscreen TV presentation window
`storage`	To save your slideshow configuration locally on your device
Host: `app.powerbi.com`	To inject CSS that hides the Power BI interface elements (filter pane, navigation bar) on Power BI pages
